The goal of the NGO Barbary Macaque Awareness & Conservation (BMAC) is to protect the Barbary macaque, the only primate found north of the Sahara. Since 2008, the species is classified as Endangered by the IUCNE. // El objetivo de la ONG BMAC es proteger el macaco de Berbería, el único primate, aparte de los humanos, al norte del Sáhara. SOS Primates is a non-profit organization that supports the work of the Lwiro Primate Rehabilitation Center (CRPL). Located in the eastern Democratic Republic of the Congo, the center is home to more than 90 chimpanzees and 100 monkeys rescued from poaching and illegal trafficking. In this war-stricken area, the CRPL employs more than 50 local workers and represents the only hope for the protection and survival of these fascinating animals.

We are a small group working for the well-being of feral/abandoned cats in Valencia. Using the TNR approach, we began 6 years ago with our neighbourhood colony of some 20 cats; many of whom you can see in the updates. Control of our own colony's population means that we are now able to help other street cats: trapping /sterilising, seeking fostering / adoption where possible, treating sick animals, relocating others to controlled locations where they can be safe.
