We manufacture prostheses for people who are amputees or who have been born without an arm. We have delivered hundreds of them in Spain. Mexico, Colombia, Kenya, Thailand and more than 50 other countries free of charge for people with disabilities who could never access this type of aid. Giving them this oportunity would improve their quality of life, increase their employability and, in the case of children in many countries, would allow them to go to school. Marta is the first child diagnosed with Opitz C Syndrome (www.asopitzc.org) in Spain. It is a serious and unknown disease that makes Marta be totally dependent. We promote the research carried out by a team from the University of Barcelona. To continue with the project, it is essential to continue raising funds for this research team. The first objective, to locate genetic mutations, is already being achieved. Now, we must go on to find therapies that help these children.

The SJD Pediatric Center is the first monographic centre for paediatric oncology in Spain (2nd in Europe). 70% of the centre is devoted to care and 30% to research. It has the capacity to care for 400 children and youngsters. Its spaces are designed with the emotional well-being of the children and their families in mind. Desde la Lliga per a la protecció d’animals i plantes de Barcelona llevamos más de 75 años trabajando por y para ellos. La Fundación Brafa está situada en Nou Barris, uno de los distritos más desfavorecidos de Barcelona. Proporcionamos becas para que niños de familias en riesgo de exclusión social puedan hacer deporte. Cada beca tiene un coste de hasta 500€. En el último curso hemos becado a más de 150 familias, destinando 48.000€. Con la ayuda de más teamers podremos conseguir que más niños reciban una formación en valores a través del deporte.

Gats del Poble Sec está formado por Montse y Josep los cuales cuídan de la alimentación, salud y esterilización de 7 colonias de gatos del barrio de Poble Sec en Barcelona. Ambos dedican gran parte de su tiempo y economía en estos gatos, también procuran que, los que no pueden vivir en libertad, tengan acogida o adopción.

La población padece desnutrición severa, deshidratación, malaria, tuberculosis, sida, neumonía, meningitis, y son los niños la población más vulnerable y afectada.

The Catalan Foundation for ALS Miquel Valls is the only non-profit organization in Catalonia that works to improve the quality of life of people and families affected by ALS through psychosocial support projects at home and in hospitals.

Hola. Desgraciadamente el 15% de las mujeres sufrimos esta enfermedad que aunque es benigna no tiene cura. Yo tengo una endiometrosis pelvica profunda. Es una enfermedad en la que el paciente deja de tener calidad de vida, algunas infertilidad, otros sin poderse mover de la cama debido a los dolores. Hay varios tipos de endometriosis. Xènia is a pretty little girl became tetraplegic due the enterovirus outbreak happened in Spain on 2016. She had the most agressive strain, D68 that made several damages in her spinal chord. Recursos Educatius per la Infància en Risc (REIR) es una asociación sin ánimo de lucro que gestiona diferentes proyectos con infancia en riesgo de exclusión social, sobretodo en Cataluña. Intenta dar una respuesta integral, de protección, con proyectos como centros de acogida, y de prevención como el Servicio Integral al Menor, desde dinde se financian becas escolares para menores en riesgo de exclusión.
