The Benjamín Mehnert Foundation is a non-profit organization committed to the situation of pet animals that suffer abuse or neglect in our country, focusing mainly on the rescue, recovery and relocation of greyhounds in family homes, providing them a new opportunity as pets. Although mainly we are dedicated to the recovery of greyhounds, currently in our refuge live more than 700 animals...

We are a group of people affected by multiple sclerosis, a neurodegenerative disease experienced by some 50,000 people in Spain. Two-thirds of the 1,800 people who each year learn they have MS are under the age of 40; three out of four of them are women. GAEM promotes research into treatments for this disease, and seeks to improve the quality of life of affected people and their families. Cada año 7.000 aves, mamíferos, reptiles y anfibios (casi veinte animales al día de media) ingresan en el Hospital de Fauna Salvaje de GREFA, en Majadahonda (Madrid), para ser atendidos de las más diversas lesiones o patologías. La prioridad de nuestros veterinarios y rehabilitadores de fauna, asistidos por el voluntariado de GREFA, es devolver a su hábitat natural a esta fauna, una vez que vuelven a alcanzar las condiciones idóneas para la vida en libertad. We are a non-profit NGO funded by donations. We focus on rescuing, rehabilitating, and providing sanctuary for birds. We handle around 2,000 inquiries and release an average of 250 birds annually. Many come from seizures, trafficking, abuse, and abandonment, and we give them a second chance. GAB is an association that fights against the mistreatment and abandonment of the Ratonero Bodeguero Andaluz. This breed is used for hunting and when they are "no longer useful" they are abandoned. It is the same problem as with galgos and podencos, except that the bodegueros are not such a well known breed. The money raised goes directly to pay for the dogs' homes, which cost 100 euros per month per dog, plus countless veterinary expenses. Every euro counts to keep saving dogs.

We are Salvando Peludos, the animal rescue and awareness foundation with an indomitable character. Our work goes far beyond rescue and adoption management. At El Campito, we work every day to: We rehabilitate dogs and cats, we carry out CER (Capture, Neuter and Return) programs in feline colonies, we give talks to raise awareness about the importance of animal protection and we encourage responsible adoption.

From a family project we created an NGO to help an Orphanage www.axudaburundi.org After helping to rebuild the orphanage with a minimum of habitability. Now we have hired a person there (€ 150/month), to better monitor the aid. And in addition to sending aid and powdered milk for infants, we are organizing farm fields and animal husbandry so that at least in part they can be self-sufficient. Help us give them a chance.
