Gatos Triana was originally created to take care of a colony of cats in Triana, Seville. Since we began our work in October 2024 we have spayed/neutered 17 cats, facilitated the adoption of 19 cats and significantly improved the alimentation and health of an entire colony. We are a small group of volunteers who have made a huge difference to the lives of stray cats but we need help. Even as little as €1 a month makes a hugely significant difference.

Destinem la nostra recaptació a:

Gatos Triana is a colony of 15 precious cats, and at the heart of it is a very special family: Mama and her four daughters. On Saturday we had to trap Chupa to take her to the vet this Monday. The news was not good, she has bleeding gums a throat infection and skin lesions. The vet suspected it could be calicivirus and indeed it was. The chances are that others may be infected too so the entire colony has to be vaccinated. Chupa has to stay in the vetinary clinic for 48 hours. The vet also prescribed fortiflora for 6 days and lactoferrina for 15 - to be given twice (so 6 weeks in all), so its going to be expensive. All of this is far beyond what our small group of caretakers can cover alone. Every donation — big or small — helps our colony to get healthy again. If anybody can help, we would be endlessly grateful.

A few weeks ago, a pretty young tuxedo was dumped in our colony.
She was frightened and unable to walk. Her front paw was badly fractured.
We manged to capture her and she was taken to the municipal veterinarian for sterilization and an assessment of her injury. Unfortunately, the surgery required to repair her fractured paw was beyond what they could provide. A second opinion confirmed that she needed an expensive operation costing 750€.
One of our dedicated caregivers took Alma home for the night but Alma, in her confusion and fear, managed to pry open a window and escape. For ten days Louise has searched tirelessly—setting a trap, walking the surrounding fields at all hours, calling for her, hoping she was safe.
And today… Alma was found. A miracle!
Now that she is safely back with us, we are determined to give her the chance she deserves: a life without pain, where she can run, climb, and simply be a cat again.
We have already raised 50€ with the help of Instagram. We believe that together with friends, family, and kind-hearted other donors we can raise the 750€ that Alma needs.
If you can help, please do. And if you can’t donate, sharing her story is just as powerful.
Thank you for giving Alma hope.
