The El Hogar Foundation was the first sanctuary in Spain and many of the animals that arrived as babies are now grandparents. This means that individual palliative care for animals with different abilities is one of our hallmarks. If you also believe that grandparents of all species have the right to age with dignity, and need more care and pampering, this is your Home. With just one euro you can help us take care of them. (English) Each animal has its own veterinary needs: medications, treatments, irritation, check-ups... and to this we must add emergencies, which are not few. En el mundo pocos animales logran llegar a su vejez, pero en el santuario la mayoría llegan a ser abuelitos.
La pava Júlia ya tiene 12 años, la rescatamos con 6 meses de edad y aquí sigue con nosotras viviendo una vida feliz en el santuario.
A los pavos los suelen matar entre los 3 y 6 meses de edad, no completan ni siquiera su infancia. Pero gracias a las personas que nos apoyáis, Julia ha podido vivir todas las etapas de su vida. ❤️
