Hoope is an animal welfare organization that rescues, cares for and seeks homes for abandoned animals. We have two centers in Madrid, a municipal CPA and a sanctuary where various animals live, such as donkeys, horses, dogs, cats, rabbits, goats, pigs, chickens, ducks, sheep ... Likewise, at Hoope we go one step further and carry out projects to help people at risk of social exclusion, because we want to take care of that essential bond that unites us and makes us stronger.

We help and keep safe around 150 animals (dogs and cats), whom were victims of abandonment and/or abuse. We provide them with shelter, food, veterinary care and lots, lots of love; we are their temporary family and home. Working since 2006 to improve the lives of those most in need. We are a very small association, only 2 people with 8 dogs and more than 30 cats in our care, most with special needs due to their age or chronic illnesses. We invest more than €1,500 per month in their maintenance, without subsidies or aid of any kind. Thanks to your €1, we can continue to fill their bellies every day and provide them with the veterinary care they need.

Desde la Lliga per a la protecció d’animals i plantes de Barcelona llevamos más de 75 años trabajando por y para ellos. Pero para cuidar de nuestros animales en el refugio necesitamos de vuestras aportaciones económicas para pagar veterinarios, comida y el mantenimiento del propio refugio. Al Sur de Etiopía, en una región rural y con muy pocos recursos económicos, se encuentra el Hospital de Gambo, hospital misionero que ofrece asistencia sanitaria a todos los habitantes de la región e incluso recibe a las personas más pobres de zonas alejadas al tratarse de uno de los hospitales más baratos del país. La población padece desnutrición severa, deshidratación, malaria, tuberculosis, sida, neumonía, meningitis, y son los niños la población más vulnerable y afectada.

Asociación Índigo trabaja para la población infantil más vulnerable de Isla Mfangano (Kenia), una comunidad rural donde la tasa de abandono infantil es elevadísima y gran parte de la población sufre de malnutrición, SIDA, malaria o tifus, especialmente los más vulnerables: los niños. Índigo trabaja activamente creando una comunidad para ofrecer a los más pequeños acceso a educación, un hogar, un programa de renutrición, sanidad completa para todos ellos, herramientas para el futuro y mucho amor.

Maisha Roots is an NGO that combines the efforts of two entities, a Spanish one (Maisha Roots Spain) and a Tanzanian one (FYWCO), with the common goal of fostering development in Tanzania. Its origins are found in the local decision of establishing a prosperous community to achieve the development of the community where we work. In Arusha, Tanzania, the projects are developed and from Spain we are working to achieve the dissemination network and media that ensure us the pursuit of our objective.
