3 new puppies at HAR
We received a message we on our Facebook page. A man found these little creatures abandoned in the forest near Bucharest.... they are 3 little girls!
You already know that females are most often abandoned... how sad
Can you imagine? Little children separated from their mother, scared, hungry, without help in a place where everything is dangerous and scary for them. The man who found them asked all the organisations and got no answer..... We have agreed to take the little girls into our care. Let's give them a good start in their lifes!
Soon we will present them to you dear fallowers We are looking for sponsors for first aid and names and I hope you will help

We have got in the last time so many new dogs/ puppies cats :( and we should take over more and we dont have really place anymore!

3 cats where found on the the street in Chitila , we named them Callas, Casim and Cinder.
Unfortunately Cinder get very ill and left yesterday 21.10.2023 over the rainbowbridge

we have again some new dogs and cats in our shelter and one hurted dog , hurted from a car. Police agreed that we take the dog and so he is now at the vet and we hope he is not to much hurted.
Please again, tell all the peope which you meet abbout us that HAR animals need help!

Grig is telling that we needd urgent food for our animals! For one day we need 80 kg food ! In the last month we have only one transport a month and dont get back enough food for our animals. :( So we need your help to buy food in Romania

Es hoert einfach nicht auf ... wir sollen auch noch 9 Welpen und einer Mama helfen! Die Welpen wurden mehr oder weniger viel zu frueh von der Mama weggenommen .. sind in einem kleinen Zwinger bei einer Frau. Sie hat sie als "Spielzeug" fuer ihre Tochter geholt und die Mama verjagt. Die sucht jetzt in der Gegend nach ihren Welpen
It just doesn't stop... we're also supposed to help 9 puppies and a mom! The puppies were taken away from their mother more or less too early. They are in a small kennel with a woman. She got them as a "toy" for her daughter and chased the mom away. She is now looking for her puppies in the area

Wäre schön, wenn sie auch so schnell ihre liebe Familie finden würde
Wir wurden in den letzen Tagen mehrfach auf eine Hündin aufmerksam gemacht, die an unterschiedlichen, weit voneinander entfernten Orten gesichtet wurde. Menschen posteten sie auf Facebook und die Versuche einer Beobachterin, die Hündin einzufangen, missglückten.
Leider hatten die Hundefänger mehr Glück und fingen sie 5 Tage nach der ersten Sichtung ein und brachten sie in ein Public Shelter
Vom ersten Sichtungspunkt bis zu der Stelle, wo sie schließlich aufgegriffen wurde, hatte die Hündin ganze 35 km durch Bukarest zurückgelegt. Grigoreta verfolgte die Odysee der Hündin, sah sie dann in einem Post des Public Shelters und entschied die ältere Hündin dort rauszuholen. Glück gehabt, süße Omi ❤️.
Nun ist die ca. 11 jährige Hundedame bei uns in Sicherheit und zeigt sich sehr lieb und menschenbezogen. Jetzt fehlt ihr ein schöner Name, mit dem sie dann hoffentlich bald in ein neues Leben starten kann.
Hunde - Omi sucht Namen & hat ihn gefunden! Sie hört jetzt auf den schönen Namen Mathilda ❤️ lieben Dank Petra

Erste Holzlieferung ist angekommen :)) Wir wuerden aber noch eine weitere Lieferung benoetigen und daher ist jeder Euro wichtig fuer uns.

Hallo zusammen, es ist unfassbar und haben wir uns gestern Abend noch sehr gefreut und euch das Video von der Vorbereitung des Transporters gezeigt, müssen wir euch jetzt leider andere Bilder zeigen. Iulian hatte gestern auf einmal noch eine Öllache entdeckt. Schaut euch das Drama im Video an… das Auto war in den letzten zwei Monaten zweimal in der Werkstatt. Er kam jetzt diese Woche wieder zurück nach der letzten Riesenpanne bei der Ausreise und schon wieder ist was neues kaputt.  Es ist Wochenende und Ersatzteile so gut wie nicht bekommen. Wir halten euch auf dem Laufenden. Es tut uns auch leid für alle Beteiligten, haben sich doch alle auf ihre Fellnasen vorbereitet und gefreut .
Am besten wäre wahrscheinlich ein neuer oder ein sehr gut gebrauchter Transporter… aber ohne Moos nix los.

Dear HAR friends and supporters,

again a weekend (07.07.2023 ) with transport is behind us. Again our old transporter caused trouble. Again we made it in the end. And again there is a story to tell:

After our transporter had just been maintained and repaired (we reported last week), on Friday the lucky dogs and cats who got a family or foster home were seen off by Grigoreta and her team and set off with our drivers Dragos and Dany towards Germany.
Unfortunately, the journey ended unintentionally on Saturday morning near Budapest - the old transporter did not want to go on.

A towing service was called. The garage was able to locate a damage to the high pressure injection pump, but they were unable to repair it. What next?
There was a lot of consideration and phone calls. Finally the solution: A free transporter from Timisoara (RO) was rented and set out for Budapest. Our poor protégés had to wait in the broken transporter - of course Dany and Dragos cared well for them and there was enough water and food. In the evening they finally continued their journey with the rented transporter. On Sunday, all animals got to their families tired but healthy and were warmly welcomed.
Thanks a lot to everyone involved and all organizers for the fast, flexible and imaginative rescheduling!!!
All's well that ends well?
Unfortunately, barely. Of course, most important was that no human or animal was harmed. But there is also our poor old transporter... As you can imagine, this all was not cost-efficient. In addition to all the costs for towing services, garage and repair as well as the rental of the new transporter (altogether several thousand Euros), there is also the fact that we could not take the needed donations of food and material back to the shelter as usual.
So, now we have to buy food for the next time. This is expensive in Romania, too. But our protégés should not starve...

Once again we have seen that together we can achieve so much. Can we still rely on your urgently needed help?

Es sind gestern ( 25.06.2023) 3 neue Notfaelle zu uns in die Island of Hope gekommen , ein Tag wo man sich lieber gleich wieder untere der Decke verstecken moechte!

Fall 1 - ist der vergiftete Hund im Film, ein Foerster hat ihn gebracht, wir haben ihn Malakai genannt! haltet Malakei die Daumen bitte

Fall 2 - ein junger Hunde wurde von einem Fahrradfahrer im Wald gefunden und zu uns gebracht - wir haben sie jetzt Matea genannt

Fall 3 - der schwarze Hund wurde vor einer Woche von einem Auto angefahren und leider erst heute zu uns gebracht.

Zarla hatte eine Laminektomie-Operation.

Die Laminektomie ist eine Art chirurgischer Eingriff, bei dem der Chirurg einen Teil oder den gesamten Wirbelknochen (Lamina) entfernt, um den Druck auf das Rückenmark oder die Nervenwurzeln zu verringern, der durch Verletzungen, Bandscheibenvorfall, Spinalstenose (Verengung des Kanals) verursacht werden kann. oder Tumoren.
Bei Zarla handelt es sich um eine Verletzung.
Der Arzt sagte, das Rückenmark sehe „intakt“ aus – was ihr Hoffnung gab. Er meint, Zarla sollte Physiotherapie bekommen. Er empfahl ihr, noch keinen Rollstuhl zu bestellen. Nach der Wundheilung müssen wir einen Termin für ein Gespräch mit dem Physiotherapeuten vereinbaren.
Kosten der OP 1325 Lei = 267 Euro
