Finca la Castellana in San Miguel de Salinas opened in May 2000 to rescue abandoned, injured and physically abused animals; nurse them back to health and find them loving homes. In March 2009 we achieved registration to become a non-profit charity No.CV-01-051201-A. This allows us to raise much needed funds to cover costs. At the Finca we care for 270+ animals costing in excess of 4000€ per month. If you join our group you'll help an animal have a better life. TOGETHER WE CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE.
Our charity is funded entirely by donations which we use to help the continuous stream of abandoned, injured and abused animals that arrive at our gate. 100% of all donations are used to provide food, vets care, accommodation and whatever is needed to give them the best possible care. We find loving homes for most but sadly some are so badly damaged psychologically they have to spend the rest of their lives in the safety of the Finca. For a monthly payment from just 5€ you can become a "FINCA FRIEND". When you join, you’ll receive a welcome letter, a "Finca Friends" Car Sticker and a framed photo of your sponsored animal. You will also receive a card on your birthday with an update on your furry friend, and a Christmas card!

In the last few weeks I have been contacted by a few of our teamers asking how they can donate more than 1€ each month.
With all the bars and restaurants being closed, the last couple of months have been extremely difficult for fundraising. We are always happy to hear about new ways of raising funds, so if you have any bright ideas please get in touch.

Alternatively why not visit one of our charity shops where you can hand in your unwanted items and browse all the items we have for sale. We have 2 shops in the area - 1 can be found in SAN MIGUEL on the main street, near the traffic lights just past Bankia. The other one is on the ground floor of the Filton Centre LOS BALCONES.
