We are a group of volunteers who operate from the deepest love for cats. Dolors Climent, the president of the association, has been carrying out this task for more than 20 years and unconditionally dedicating her time, effort and love to street cats. With her we have met a group of volunteers, together we want to improve the living conditions of cats. We have a closed shelter and 15 open colonies in the municipality of Vilafranca. www.gatsdevilafranca.cat

We are a cat sanctuary. Over 70 rescued animals live with us: abandoned cats, injured ferals, and adults with chronic illnesses or behavioral challenges. In 10 years we have rescued over 1,000 animals, and for many, this will be their safe forever home. To keep growing, we are becoming a foundation and building a new sanctuary. Al 2025 va néixer l'associació Gats Almatret amb un objectiu clar: protegir i millorar la vida dels gats de la nostra vila d'almatret.
