EL CAPITÁN animal project ist ein deutscher Verein, der sich um Straßenkatzen auf der kanarischen Insel Fuerteventura kümmert. Unsere Aufgaben im Besonderen sind: > Katzen-Populationskontrolle durch Kastrationen; > Einrichtung und Betreuung von Punto de Gatos; > Medizinische Versorgung von Streunerkatzen; > Enge Zusammenarbeit mit lokalen Tierärzten; > Bildungsarbeit im Bereich Tierschutz

Meow dear Catlovers,

We are filled with pride and gratitude: In May alone, we were able to
trap and neuter 40 cats around the island’s capital – 40 precious lives
given a chance at a better future.

Spaying and neutering is at the heart of everything we do. It brings
hope, creates change – and gives stray cats the dignity they deserve.

With patience and compassion, we gently trap them, provide veterinary
care, and neuter them. Then, we return them to the place they know and
feel safe – their territory. But this time, without the constant burden
of unwanted litters.

TNR – “Trap, Neuter, Return” – isn’t just a method to us. It’s real,
heartfelt animal welfare. It’s internationally recognized – and above
all, it works.

We can only continue this important work because of your donations. Not
every local authority supports us. But you do. And that’s what truly
