EL CAPITÁN animal project ist ein deutscher Verein, der sich um Straßenkatzen auf der kanarischen Insel Fuerteventura kümmert. Unsere Aufgaben im Besonderen sind: > Katzen-Populationskontrolle durch Kastrationen; > Einrichtung und Betreuung von Punto de Gatos; > Medizinische Versorgung von Streunerkatzen; > Enge Zusammenarbeit mit lokalen Tierärzten; > Bildungsarbeit im Bereich Tierschutz

Meow dear Catlovers,
the past few weeks have once again reminded us how much difference a bit of care can make. Several tiny kittens were found — hungry, scared, and alone. Each of them needed help, and thanks to your support, they got it. Warm hands, full bellies, and the safety they had never known before.

Our Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) work has also continued tirelessly. Every cat trapped, treated, and released means fewer kittens born into hardship and fewer animals left to struggle on the streets. It’s quiet, steady work — but it changes lives every single day.

We’ve also been providing medical help to those who need it most. One tomcat, found in rough shape and suffering from painful teeth, is now recovering well after treatment. Seeing him begin to trust again is the best reward.

And still, many rescued cats are waiting for their forever homes — gentle souls who’ve already been through too much and now just need a safe place to belong. If you or someone you know can offer that, it truly makes all the difference.
