For more than 30 years, Scooby has been providing shelter to abandoned and mistreated animals. In the 90's we brought to light the atrocities inflicted on galgos (Spanish greyhounds). At present, we are the biggest shelter in Spain, currently homing more than 1000 dogs and cats and 200 farm animals. Our resources are very limited and we depend mainly on the donations. Galgos del Sol is a non profit charity located in Murcia, Spain. We are dedicated to rescue abandoned and injured galgos to rehabilitate them and find them forever homes in different parts of the world. Thousands of galgos are abandoned or killed each year at the end of the hunting season. Group created to give a fast and effective first help to Bodegueros who are abandoned in the streets of Spain in extreme conditions or locked in local dog pounds risking to be euthanized. We rescue them, pay the dog pound’s fees, take them to the vet, pay for residence and transport and we look for foster homes and associations who can shelter them until they find a forever home.

Son muchos los animales mayores y ancianos que tenemos en la protectora, estas criaturas permanecerán hasta el fin de sus días con nosotras, tienen problemas de huesos ( movilidad) de visión, alimentaria, otitis y dermatitis crónicas, tienen mucha medicación y cuidados especiales, alguno de ellos usan pañales para dormir. Analíticas constante. Son muchos gastos, esta ayuda va para ellos, para mantener su salud y así garantizar su calidad de vida el tiempo que estén con nosotras. Gracias!!!

In Salé, Morocco, Hajar Aourz has created a shelter in her home and on rented land. Today, this shelter welcomes 200 cats and 150 dogs. His determination: the extreme suffering of stray animals and the cruelty to which they are subjected day after day. This shelter cannot continue to exist without your help. La Asociacion Protectora de Animales y Plantas de Zafra: El Refugio de Brown es una entidad sin ánimo de lucro orientada a la preservación de los derechos de los animales y plantas, promoviendo actividades y campañas de concienciación. We do not have a shelter, all the animals that we rescue or take from municipal kennels are in paid residences (€150 per month for each one), plus the veterinary expenses, since many of them are sick, they must be sterilized, vaccinated, etc. Join our group, our entire family of rescued people will thank you, so you will help them have a happy ending, which is their turn. A rescue and rehoming sanctuary for abused, neglected and abandoned Galgos and Podencas in Malaga, Spain. Entirely voluntary funded, this charity has saved the lives of many Galgos left to die on the streets. All our dogs are vaccinated, neutered, and rehabilitated before we place them in forever homes. This group is to raise money for ongoing running costs and vets fees for special cases like Ebro.
