For more than 30 years, Scooby has been providing shelter to abandoned and mistreated animals. In the 90's we brought to light the atrocities inflicted on galgos (Spanish greyhounds). At present, we are the biggest shelter in Spain, currently homing more than 1000 dogs and cats and 200 farm animals. Our resources are very limited and we depend mainly on the donations. SOS Podenco Rescue saves podencos from the streets and from killing stations, gives them vet treatment, and finds them a forever home. Our only purpose is to fight for this wonderful breed that is ignored and not wanted in Spain, as they are only considered huntils tools, not pets. The Benjamín Mehnert Foundation is a non-profit organization committed to the situation of pet animals that suffer abuse or neglect in our country, focusing mainly on the rescue, recovery and relocation of greyhounds in family homes, providing them a new opportunity as pets. Although mainly we are dedicated to the recovery of greyhounds, currently in our refuge live more than 700 animals...

We are a modest non-profit association, which does not receive subsidies from any official body. Since 2008 we have helped to find families of abandoned animals from our city. We have around 100 dogs collected and we lack the means to feed them and give them the veterinary attention they need, so we ask you to join our group. Galgos del Sol is a non profit charity located in Murcia, Spain. We are dedicated to rescue abandoned and injured galgos to rehabilitate them and find them forever homes in different parts of the world. Thousands of galgos are abandoned or killed each year at the end of the hunting season. Este grupo nació con la salvación de Ivanka, una perra rescatada de la perrera. Por suerte fue adoptada en muy poco tiempo por Inma y vive actualemente en Barcelona. Se ha mantenido este grupo y el dinero recaudado va destinado a la Asoc. Protectora de Zafra. EL refugio de Brown, y en concreto para los perros rescatados de la Perrera de Zafra. Gracias a todos. Eine schelle Antwort zu geben um sie zu retten und die ersten Veterinärbedarf,Zwinger Ausgangs Aufenhalt und Tranfer zu Kosten und so die Möglichkeit haben einen Host oder Schutzort zu finden,wo sie sicher sein werden,bis sie eine Familie und ein Zuhause finden.

Son muchos los animales mayores y ancianos que tenemos en la protectora, estas criaturas permanecerán hasta el fin de sus días con nosotras, tienen problemas de huesos ( movilidad) de visión, alimentaria, otitis y dermatitis crónicas, tienen mucha medicación y cuidados especiales, alguno de ellos usan pañales para dormir. Analíticas constante. Son muchos gastos, esta ayuda va para ellos, para mantener su salud y así garantizar su calidad de vida el tiempo que estén con nosotras. Gracias!!!

In Salé, Morocco, Hajar Aourz has created a shelter in her home and on rented land. Today, this shelter welcomes more than 150 cats and 120 dogs. La Asociacion Protectora de Animales y Plantas de Zafra: El Refugio de Brown es una entidad sin ánimo de lucro orientada a la preservación de los derechos de los animales y plantas, promoviendo actividades y campañas de concienciación. La asociación tiene un refugio ubicado en Zafra (Badajoz) en el cual se albergan animales abandonados, se les proporcionan los cuidados veterinarios, de limpieza y manutención necesarios hasta encontrarles un hogar de adopcion definitivo.
