We also wish for community-oriented awareness of animal welfare to grow and animal placement to become more sustainable. We have been working towards this with our association (based in Erfurt) since 2015. We give all our furry friends the time they need adapt to their new living conditions. Without paying rent 360 Euro of my flat, I have to leave and the animals must back on street. I am an animal rights activist in Athens and currently take care of 150 of my own cats and also a few cat colonies and other strays. Wir, der Verein „ein Herz für Hunde“ kämpft gegen die traurige Lage auf der Deponie in Bihac in Bosnien. Hunderte Strassenhunde benötigen dort täglich Futter und Wasser. Neben der täglichen Angst zu verhungern, kommt natürlich auch das ständige Leben in Angst dazu. Da dies in einer Dimension stattfindet, die wir ohne fremde Hilfe nicht stemmen können, benötigen wir immer wieder Menschen mit Herz die uns helfen und spenden möchten.

Savethedogsbih is a non-profit organization in Bosnia. We rescue dogs that have been abandoned, abused and chained up. For over 6 years, the founder Bruno Jelovic and his team have been caring for over 1000 dogs. Our dogs are not kept in kennels, but live on our ranches where they can just be dogs. We are committed to growing and plan to build more ranches to accommodate more dogs.

Wir sind ein kleines Team aus drei engagierten Frauen, das sich mit ganzem Herzen dem Tierschutz verschrieben hat. Unser Verein versorgt aktuell ca. 300 Hunde in Rumänien, verteilt auf zwei Shelter, und hilft zusätzlich unzähligen Tieren in der Türkei sowie in Deutschland. Wir retten Hunde aus Tötungsstationen, bringen sie in Sicherheit und leisten dringend benötigte medizinische Hilfe – für Hunde und Katzen. Allein für Futter benötigen wir rund 7.000 € im Monat.
