That is why once again we ask for the help of the friends of the spAm. Nell’ospedale Sant Joan de Déu a Barcellona abbiamo lanciato una sfida: creare un centro specializzato per curare il cancro infantile. L’obiettivo è incrementare le cure e offrire un percorso completo e personalizzato, che non discrimini per motivi economici. Il centro ospiterà 400 bambini ogni anno e avrà a disposizione 40 stanze, 8 stanze di isolamento, 30 stanze per diagnostica e 20 consulenze esterne. Il centro è in fase di costruzione, abbiamo bisogno di voi per portare a termine la sfida!

This is a sanctuary to help abused & abandoned horses and other species. Live 64 equines and other animals in the sanctuary. The approximate cost per horse per month is 120 euros if they are in good health; if there are not, the amount can go up to a few hundreds of euros and even thousands. Abril is a 8-year-old girl diagnosed with SPG52, with only 55 diagnoses in the world. SPG52 is an ultra-rare disease that causes very serious symptoms such as severe intellectual disability, epileptic seizures and very rapid muscle degradation in the lower body. Abril started walking when she was 3 years old and now at 8 she can hardly move anymore.

La UAPO (Unidad de Apoyo al Paciente Oncológico) es una unidad interdisciplinar que integra la educación física, la fisioterapia, la psicología y la nutrición, para proporcionar al paciente oncológico una intervención integral. Además, la estrecha colaboración de la UAPO con el grupo PROFITH-CTS977 de la Universidad de Granada, garantiza que las intervenciones que se realizan estén basadas en la evidencia científica.
