We are more than 1,600 volunteers and although our best known face is suicide intervention, our goal is to care for people in situations of emotional crisis: loneliness, depression, anxiety, life crisis, etc. Free of charge, we offer a 24-hour telephone GUIDANCE SERVICE, 365 days a year and FOLLOW-UP MONITORING with psychologists in those cases that need it. We teach WORKSHOPS about personal development for prevention and emotional education.

The SJD Pediatric Center is the first monographic centre for paediatric oncology in Spain (2nd in Europe). 70% of the centre is devoted to care and 30% to research. It has the capacity to care for 400 children and youngsters. Its spaces are designed with the emotional well-being of the children and their families in mind. Our aim is that the children have more options to overcome cancer with less after-effects. Your euro helps to carry out the humanisation programmes and new treatments. Will you join us?

This group was brought about to help the food banks. The idea is simple: if you join us, for each euro donated each month, the Occident Foundation will donate another to buy food, up to a maximum of 100.000 euros, while the unemployment rate remains higher than 15%.

“Niños contra el Cáncer” es un proyecto de la Clínica Universidad de Navarra. Nació en 1982 con los objetivos de ayudar a familias con recursos insuficientes para acceder a tratamientos específicos, e investigar en la búsqueda de soluciones para vencer a esta enfermedad.

Aurican, Asociación SocioAnimalista sin ánimo de lucro, lucha por la protección y bienestar animal en la isla de Gran Canaria. Recientemente ha iniciado el proyecto de creación y mantenimiento de un recinto para PODENCOS de más de 10 años y madres con cachorros, con capacidad para 15 perros hasta su fallecimiento o adopción. Durante su estancia recibirán los tratamientos y cuidados necesarios para que tengan una vida digna, además de recibir todo el amor y cariño que se merecen.

Con esta aportación ayudas a que podamos equipar los nuevos centros UAPO que se vayan abriendo.
