Gatos Ancat Badajoz cares for abandoned cats in the city of Badajoz that come to us through the municipal animal collection service and we take care of them to give them the opportunity to have a decent life. Everyone must go to the veterinarian to be vaccinated, tested, sterilized, dewormed, as well as other veterinary treatments according to the needs they require, all without subsidies or official aid, only from individuals who collaborate with the association.

Gatos Ancat Badajoz cares for cats positive for feline leukemia like any other cat that comes to the association. Unfortunately their adoptions are minimal, when these felines can have the same quality of life as one that is not. For this reason, the cats stay in the association and the expenses are assumed permanently: food, veterinarian, litter, cleaning ... Which is a very high monthly charge for the number of cats we have.

We are a very small association, only 2 people with 8 dogs and more than 30 cats in our care, most with special needs due to their age or chronic illnesses. We invest more than €1,500 per month in their maintenance, without subsidies or aid of any kind. Defaniva es una asociación sin ánimo de lucro cuyo objetivo es rescatar animales abandonados o en riesgo de sacrificio en las perreras de Valladolid. No disponemos de instalaciones físicas por lo que les ubicamos en casas de acogida de voluntarios o simpatizantes. Apenas tenemos socios y los donativos que recibimos son muy puntuales. Somos una ONG, registrada y formada por unos pocos voluntarios. Nos encargamos de alimentar, cuidar y sobre todo esterilizar los gatos callejeros del pueblo de L'Escala (Girona) aplicando el programa CER. Anualmente operamos a mas de 200 gatos. Necesitamos 400 teamers para poder pagar los consiguientes gastos veterinarios incluidos los derivados de curas cuando alguno esta enfermo y tener las colonias controladas adecuadamente.
