Every year, more than three million children under the age of five die from malnutrition or malnutrition-related causes worldwide. Das Projekt will die Mütter- und Kindersterblichkeit zu senken. Keine Mutter darf mehr während Schwangerschaft und Geburt wegen vermeidbarer Ursachen sterben. Mutter sein und leben können! Sensibilisierung der Gemeinde für die Wichtigkeit von Vorsorgeuntersuchungen und in einem Gesundheitszentrum zu gebären. Ausbildung von Hebammen, Versorgung der ländlichen Gesundheitszentren und des Krankenhauses von Gambo mit nötigem Material für Entbindungen und deren Komplikationen sowie Krankentransporte.

No Name Kitchen is a civil movement oriented to support human beings on their right to move seeking a better future. We work in border-crossing spots where People on the Move (PoM) face the difficulties of long journeys and violent push-backs, with the determination that all people have the right to seek a better future, that all people should have equal access to exercise their rights and that no injustice should be made invisible. OCC is a registered nonprofit organisation active in both Barcelona (Spain) and Polykastro (Greece), working towards the inclusion of refugees and migrants through educational and cultural activities. We work mainly with volunteers to offer language classes, technical workshops, sports activities, cultural events, and women and children’s support. At the same time, we work on an international level with many European partners to increase our social impact.

€1 per month represents adequate food for 10 days for a school child in the refugee camps where we work. To be specific: the basic food of these little ones, consisted only of a bowl of rice with Dhal, (a lentil-based soup). From JIN-PA, we mainly subsidize a food supplement consisting of: 1 glass of milk, 1 piece of fruit and 1 plate of vegetables.
