Marta is the first child diagnosed with Opitz C Syndrome (www.asopitzc.org) in Spain. It is a serious and unknown disease that makes Marta be totally dependent. We promote the research carried out by a team from the University of Barcelona. To continue with the project, it is essential to continue raising funds for this research team. The first objective, to locate genetic mutations, is already being achieved. Now, we must go on to find therapies that help these children.

Fathers and mothers from all over Spain, aware of the seriousness of our children, we decided to fight to give them a better and hopeful future. That is why we have joined together in order to raise funds through the Duchenne Parent Project for research. La ATAXIA CEREBELOSA HEREDITARIA (SCA) es una enfermedad degenerativa del cerebelo que puede afectar a la marcha, al habla, a la vista, a la deglución y a otras actividades del día a día, además de ir mermando la musculatura en general. En estados avanzados, el paciente se desplaza en silla de ruedas y depende de otra persona para realizar las actividades básicas del día a día. Es un proceso lento e irreversible, para el que actualmente no hay cura. Nosotros luchamos para cambiar este destino.
