La vida nos cambió en menos de 24 horas...2 veces... Aitana nació sana pero una noche su vida cambió. En 2020, teniendo 4 años y medio, una sepsis meningocócica casi se lleva su vida, consiguió sobrevivir con secuelas irreversibles. Una amputación de una pierna y daños internos en la otra. 3 años después, su papá, Fran, tras perder sensibilidad y movilidad de pecho hacia abajo, le diagnosticaron un tumor que le comprimió la médula y le causó una lesión medular. We are a family from Spain. Our son Mateo, has a genetic mutation in the NEK8 gene, considered ultra rare, that is damaging his organs. When he was 9 months old, he had a liver transplant and when he was 3 years old, a kidney transplant. In a future he could need a heart transplant, also. There is a research team that can help him to stop his illness but they need funding (€62,000). Your contribution can save him.
