We are a group of volunteers who operate from the deepest love for cats. Dolors Climent, the president of the association, has been carrying out this task for more than 20 years and unconditionally dedicating her time, effort and love to street cats. With her we have met a group of volunteers, together we want to improve the living conditions of cats. We have a closed shelter and 15 open colonies in the municipality of Vilafranca. www.gatsdevilafranca.cat

Onze doelstellingen 1- Moedig respect en een goede behandeling aan voor dieren, met name wilde dieren en huisdieren. 2- Om de omstandigheden en de kwaliteit van leven van de dieren van de CAAD te verbeteren. 3- Bewustwording creëren en de bevolking betrekken bij verantwoord bezit van huisdieren. 4- Verminder het aantal dieren dat in de CAAD leeft en verminder ook het aantal dieren dat het binnenkomt. 5- Beheer een netwerk van pleeggezinnen en ondersteun adoptanten en pleeggezinnen.

12 years of war in Syria have left millions of victims and 5.5 million refugees. Abril is a 7-year-old girl diagnosed with SPG52, with only 50 diagnoses in the world. SPG52 is an ultra-rare disease that causes very serious symptoms such as severe intellectual disability, epileptic seizures and very rapid muscle degradation in the lower body. Abril started walking when she was 3 years old and now at 7 she can hardly move anymore.

Espai de Gats is the first cat café, adoption and education center of Barcelona. Here, you will be able to relax accompanied by our cats, whilst you enjoy a good cup of coffee or tea, and a vegan pastry. And, if you fall in love with any of the cats, you may adopt them. This non-profit project is only sustainable thanks to people like you, that either love cats, or feel curious about these small felines. We allocate the teamers' contribution entirely to the cats' maintenaince.
