APANOT nace del amor que Karmen y algunos voluntarios sienten por los animales. Este es el principal y único motivo por el que decidieron dedicar su vida a los perros y gatos que se encuentran desamparados o que son víctimas de seres irracionales. Su labor y dedicación no es tarea fácil, diariamente cuidan y protegen a unos 85 perros y 30 gatos que conviven, sin ningún tipo de lujos, en el refugio que muy humildemente construyeron en Icod de los Vinos.

Soy Andrea presidenta de Brigada Animalista. Soy una particular que dedica su tiempo a rescatar y dar en adopción animales, en su mayoría perros y gatos. Por mis manos pasan muchos animales, me encargo de rescatarlos, pasar revisiones veterinarias y buscarles familias, esto conlleva gastos tanto veterinarios como de alimentación. K9 es un pequeño Refugio situado en San Miguel de Abona. Solemos albergar un promedio de 70 perros y 10 gatos. Tenemos más de 20 años trabajando por los animales abandonados. No recibimos ninguna ayuda pública siendo nuestro sostén económico lo que recibimos de los voluntarios, de la venta de cosas de segunda mano y de eventos que organizamos. ¿nos ayudarías con 1 euro al mes? ¡Es muy sencillo darte de alta!
