La UAPO (Unidad de Apoyo al Paciente Oncológico) es una unidad interdisciplinar que integra la educación física, la fisioterapia, la psicología y la nutrición, para proporcionar al paciente oncológico una intervención integral. Además, la estrecha colaboración de la UAPO con el grupo PROFITH-CTS977 de la Universidad de Granada, garantiza que las intervenciones que se realizan estén basadas en la evidencia científica. Every year, more than three million children under the age of five die from malnutrition or malnutrition-related causes worldwide. Our main challenge is to treat as many children with severe acute malnutrition as possible, particularly in unstable or conflict-affected contexts. 12 years of war in Syria have left millions of victims and 5.5 million refugees. Since then, donations have been made in this group to assist them through harsh winters without heating or during the pandemic. Their situation is now even more critical after the earthquakes in February. We are a group of people affected by multiple sclerosis, a neurodegenerative disease experienced by some 50,000 people in Spain. Two-thirds of the 1,800 people who each year learn they have MS are under the age of 40; three out of four of them are women. GAEM promotes research into treatments for this disease, and seeks to improve the quality of life of affected people and their families.
