La Sociedad Protectora de Animales de Yecla (SPANDY) es una asociación sin ánimo de lucro y legalmente constituida, que nace en la localidad de Yecla por iniciativa de un grupo de personas dispuestas a emprender una labor destinada a mejorar las condiciones de la población animal, así como a ejercer su protección, defensa y luchar contra el abandono y el maltrato que sufren los animales en nuestra sociedad

12 years of war in Syria have left millions of victims and 5.5 million refugees. Since then, donations have been made in this group to assist them through harsh winters without heating or during the pandemic. Their situation is now even more critical after the earthquakes in February. Our dogs and cats need their food ration and their daily pills. Many of them are victims of accidents that require expensive surgeries and chronic diseases. In addition, in order to take care of them as they deserve, we must maintain our hostel with all the costs that this entails.
