Nearly 12 years of war in Syria have left a country devastated, and worse, millions of lives destroyed. But now a devastating earthquake of magnitude 7.6 hits the northwest of the country and the southeast of Turkey on February 6, leaving more than 4,000 lives in both countries. From the Islamic Relief Foundation we are on the ground providing cash grants so that those most affected can meet their immediate needs.

Escolas de Paz is a social initiative that offers comprehensive care to orphans and vulnerable children, with the aim of guaranteeing them a more dignified future. Thanks to the work of the last years, the project offers a global care to 200 children between 5 and 14 years old distributed in the 4 localities that do not have basic minimum conditions.

Se trata de un orfanato diferente en el que la mayoría de los niños tienen necesidades educativas especiales. Incluso hay gran cantidad de niños de corta edad sordomudos, porque a causa de la otitis,ésta desemboca en una sordera que les impide aprender a hablar. Niños que se arrastran con tablas con ruedas porque no pueden andar,otros que ves como se van quedando ciegos y un largo etcétera. Os pedimos ayuda para que estos pequeños tengan una oportunidad. Somos un equipo de jóvenes psicólogos que luchamos por mostrar y extender los beneficios de la música en el ALZHEIMER, ya que la memoria musical y las emociones son de las últimas capacidades en perderse. Necesitamos vuestra ayuda. Nuestra misión: concienciar, sensibilizar, formar y expandir la MÚSICA como herramienta y el AMOR como camino, para el manejo de los trastornos del comportamiento (agitación, agresividad...) que acompañan a la enfermedad. El Alzheimer no puede con la música y el Amor.

Al Sur de Etiopía, en una región rural y con muy pocos recursos económicos, se encuentra el Hospital de Gambo, hospital misionero que ofrece asistencia sanitaria a todos los habitantes de la región e incluso recibe a las personas más pobres de zonas alejadas al tratarse de uno de los hospitales más baratos del país. La población padece desnutrición severa, deshidratación, malaria, tuberculosis, sida, neumonía, meningitis, y son los niños la población más vulnerable y afectada.
