We are two women who, out of love and conviction, do everything we can to rescue the forgotten dogs from the Perrera of A Rúa (Ourense, Spain). Your contribution helps cover their boarding and veterinary costs until they find a loving home. For us, every adoption is a heartfelt project – our goal is not many adoptions, but happy dogs in the right homes where they will be loved forever. They need us – please help us give them a second chance! ❤️

En estos momentos seguimos teniendo a siete perros en una residencia de Leon. Son Malena, Dumas, Dickens, Fizz, Roth, Ottis y Burton. Dumas y Dickens fueron encontrados vagando por la calle y ante el dilema de no tener sitio donde meterlos pero querer evitar que fueran a la perrera se llevaron a la residencia donde ya llevan desde agosto esperando a encontrar un hogar. Los demas 5 perros salieron de la perrera de A Rua. Burton despues de haber sido atacado y con una pata ya en el mas alla.

Resumen del mes de agosto ️
El mes de agosto fue complicado y angustioso por los incendios que hubo en nuestra región y que, lamentablemente, también afectaron a los perros de la perrera de A Rúa . Por suerte, los perros fueron evacuados a tiempo y, aparte de daños materiales, no hubo ninguna pérdida, que es lo más importante .

Fue un mes realmente difícil para nosotras, pero estamos muy agradecidas de que 60 personas se hayan unido para formar parte de este proyecto . Queremos dar la bienvenida a: Raquel B. Gracias, gracias, gracias a las nuevas personas que se han sumado y a quienes seguís ahí ayudando ❤️.

En agosto se fueron en adopción dos perros . Uno fue Narel, que pasó la pesadilla del incendio en la perrera y al que tuvimos que sacar in extremis a la residencia para evitar que, después de lo sucedido, volviera allí. La otra afortunada fue Macca, un caso muy especial que, después de toda la mala vida que le dieron, encontró a su familia . Estamos súper contentas de que haya sido así.

Como miembro perruno más de la familia de TeLuMa’s Dream se unió Serin, que por suerte pudo salir de la perrera porque se encontró una casa de acogida para ella ✨.

Además, siguen :
En residencia → Latte, Kibble, Tea, Boa, Ena, Saru, Kuro, Gin, Malena, Coque, Alegro.
En acogida → Haruki, Caramelo, Quim, Lupin, Luka.

Aparte de los costes de pienso, los gastos más fuertes fueron una factura veterinaria de 100 € por una revisión y por tos de las perrera, 122 € en medicación y 520 € en residencia .

Seguimos buscando :
- Casas de acogida entre Ourense y León .
- Hogares definitivos para perros que llevan más de 3 años esperando.
- Personas comprometidas para colaborar activamente en la protectora .
- Paseadores de perros en León y en Ponferrada .
- Donaciones de pienso y desparasitación (interna y externa) .

August recap ️
August was a difficult and distressing month due to the wildfires in our region, which, sadly, also affected the dogs at the A Rúa pound . Fortunately, the dogs were evacuated in time and, apart from material damage, there were no losses, which is the most important thing ✅.

It was a really tough month for us, but we’re very grateful that 60 people joined to be part of this project . We’d like to welcome : Raquel B. B., Josefina L., Beatriz F. F., Cristina R. In August, two dogs were adopted . One was Narel, who went through the nightmare of the fire at the pound, and whom we had to move in extremis to the boarding facility to prevent him from returning there after what happened. The other lucky one was Macca, a very special case who, after all the hardship she endured, found her family . We’re over the moon that it turned out this way.

Another furry member joined the TeLuMa’s Dream family: Serin, who thankfully was able to leave the pound because we found a foster home for her ✨.

Also still with us :

Besides the cost of food, the largest expenses were a €100 veterinary bill for a check-up and a case of kennel cough, €122 in medication, and €520 for boarding .

We’re still looking for :
- Foster homes between Ourense and León .
- Forever homes for dogs who have been waiting more than 3 years.
- Committed people to actively collaborate with the rescue .
- Dog walkers in León and Ponferrada .
- Donations of dog food and parasite prevention (internal and external) .
