Help for Strays e.V. is a Germany-based non profit organisation which supports the private animal shelter "Riska" in Belgrade, Serbia. It is home to approx. 250 dogs and 30 cats. The shelter feeds the animals and provides medical care. It is financed through donations only. Our goal is to support the stray dogs and cats on the Greek island of Naxos as well as Eleni's Shelter in Serres on the Greek mainland. We collect donations in kind and feed and regularly send pallets full of feed and relief supplies to Naxos and Serres. Monetary donations are used to support veterinary costs and castration projects, among others.
