WIR, die Katzenhoffnung, sind ein kleines Team von Privatpersonen, das sich ehrenamtlich für die Katzen von der Finca los gatitos in Spanien einsetzt, bis sie ein schönes Zuhause gefunden haben.Die tägliche Versorgung über 80 Katzen kostet nicht nur sehr viel Kraft, sondern auch sehr viel Geld. We are a small animal rescue group in Germany, located near Frankfurt. We have several projects within Germany and other European Countries. We fight every day for homeless dogs and cats and are happy and thankful for any kind of help. The money raised via teaming is used for our castration project in Spain.

Wir konnten im Verlauf der letzten Jahre unserer Arbeit schon ca. 900 Katzen in ein neues Leben verhelfen. Wir betreuen stets rund 500 Katzen in Frankreich und Deutschland. Wir kamen immer enigermaßen gut zurecht, doch sind wir nur ein sehr kleiner Verein, der immer am absoluten Rand des Existenzminimums arbeitet und daher sehr auf finanzielle Zuwendungen angewiesen, um unsere Hilfe weiterhin konstant erbringen zu können.

We take care for around 500 hedgehogs each year. Main point are hurt, traumatized hedgehogs and those having cancer. The central is in Ober-Wöllstadt/Hessen, another hedghehog station is in Kirchworbis/Thüringen. The organization exists since 2008, before that date we took care for hedgehogs private a couple of years.

Dash is one of the biggest animal rescue establishments in Greece. Almost all of the furry inhabitants have a sad past and deserve from now on a better life! We aim to provide primary medical treatment such as vaccination and anti-tick-drugs for all dogs. It is also important to have special food for our old or sick protégés. Sie stellt ihr ganzes Zuhause den Tieren zu Verfügung und kümmert sich rund um die Uhr um sie. Ljubica ist auf private Geldspenden angewiesen. Für alle diese Fellnasen die zum Glück jetzt bei Ljubica sind braucht sie alleine im Monat schon ca.1300 Euro nur für Futter. Ich bedanke mich von ganzem Herzen für jeden einzelnen Euro der gespendet wird.

Sabir vem do Azerbaijão e, como desempregado com uma grave operação ao coração atrás de si, já salvou inúmeros gatos juntamente com as suas duas filhas e a sua esposa, embora ele próprio só tenha dinheiro suficiente para comer. Acrescentam regularmente novos gatos aos 40 que têm de cuidar, tanto adultos como gatinhos, que resgatam das ruas e pessoas cruéis. A família está grata por cada doação, porque cada euro conta para os gatos!

We are a private, non-profit, animal welfare organization. We are and support other animal lovers on Crete. We want to raise awareness for the homeless, stray cats of Crete. Without paying rent 360 Euro of my flat, I have to leave and the animals must back on street. I am an animal rights activist in Athens and currently take care of 150 of my own cats and also a few cat colonies and other strays. Doris Lindo, eine Deutsche die vor über 20 Jahren auf die Insel Ischia aus gesundheitlichen Gründen ausgewandert ist, hat sich sehr bald dem Tierschutz auf der Insel verschrieben. Sie versorgt dort weitgehend alleine mit nur sehr wenig Unterstützung rund 250 Strassenkatzen. Hauptaugenmerk ist die Fütterung und Kastration. Daneben aber auch das Gesundpflegen und Vermitteln von Katzen. Auch die Beratung von Katzenbesitzern zu allen Fragen artgerechter Haltung übernimmt sie.

Heidi versorgt auf Mallorca in ihrem Miniappartement unzählige Straßenkatzen täglich. Sie selbst hat nur eine sehr kleine Rente, die unter dem Existenzminimum liegt und es fehlt an allem. Sie hat auf ihrer Terrasse provisorische Schlafmöglichkeiten für die Katzen aufgestellt - alte Fallen provisorisch mit Planen abgedeckt . Die Katzen nehmen die Plätze dankend an, erhalten sie bei Heidi Liebe und Zuwendung und werden nicht verjagt, vertrieben oder von der Tötung abgeholt, wie sonst üblich .

Somos una colonia de unos 20 gatos (entre adultos y bebés) que pese a que llevamos años "existiendo" ahora es cuando estamos siendo controlado y cuidados. Necesitamos nos ayuden para poder comer rico, desparasitarnos y crecer sanos. Estamos en Palma de Mallorca. La colonia se inició en 2016.

Help us to help more animals! SCARS is an organization in Athens, helping mainly cats but we will help any any other animal in need. Our goal and dream is spaying and neutering stray cats (sometimes we manage to do 100 cats per month), we take under our care special need animals (blind, deaf, three legged etc) and many times these animals require very expensive surgeries. In the year 2018, I moved to Crete to help retired seniors live here in a co-living concept. Only the 2nd day on this island, I took the first puppy off his chain. Since then I resocialize dogs that others throw away. Since then I have lived in the middle of a large pack and rehabilitate every newcomer. Today this task is worth more to me than earning money. Only when 1 dog has found its place in the pack, does it show itself socially and it shapes its further character, for a new family.

"Huellas Urbanas" is a project created from the experience of several people who have spent many years working in animal rescue and adoption. The cat finca ❤️ 2 dogs, 2 goats and 38 cats live here. Many of the cats are ill (ataxia, FelV, calcivirus, skin cancer, etc.), but we also give these animals a loving home. I started Maria’s Cathouse to help the many stray cats around Chania on the Greek island of Crete. Most cats I take in have health issues (often complex) or disabilities. Some will have a home with me for life. There are over 130 cats at the shelter and I run and maintain it by myself and it is a huge struggle to fund their care. Every day I see sick, injured and starving cats and kittens living on the street. With your help I can treat, neuter and feed them. Thank you so much

For the last 12 years we take care a large number of stray cats in a suburb of Athens, providing food, medical care, sterilizations, having neutered more that 500 cats. At this point, we feed daily more than 200 cats in about 25 spots. At the same time we shelter many cats with disabilities, coming from the colonies that we take care that could not survive on the streets. These cats are blind, deaf, there-legged, with cerebellar hypoplasia, urinary or kidney problems, stomatitis.

We support a private animal charity on Crete. Sarah, a Swiss woman, lovingly and extremely self-sacrificingly takes care of durchlfd. about 40 cats & 35 dogs and works tirelessly to change the way the locals think. She takes in strays and sick animals at home or sets up feeding stations, nurses them back to health and helps them lead a life worth living.
