Tierschutzbrücke München e.V. supports the Casa Cainelui animal shelter in the city of Timisoara in Romania. Approx. 300 dogs have to be constantly looked after there. In the animal shelter, however, they are already safe from the urban dog catchers and the killing stations. The regular castration projects on site also require a lot of commitment. Considerati animali da lavoro, come i levrieri vengono usati per la caccia e con loro condividono un destino di sfruttamento, maltrattamento, sevizie e morte se considerati improduttivi. Mentre la condizione del levriero negli ultimi anni, grazie a servizi sui media, è arrivata alla conoscenza di un vasto pubblico, il podenco rimane la razza dimenticata dalla Spagna

Podencoworld is located in The Netherlands, it is a charity organisation to help, rescue and protect Podencos in Spain. Podencos are a Spanish dog breed, that are maltreated and abandoned by hunters in Spain. We support more than 25 shelters in Spain. We not only adopt Podencos to live with loving families in The Netherlands and Belgium, but we also support Spanish shelters by raising money for repairs, food, medication and operations. Every cent you donate will be used to help the Podencos!

We work together with 2 animal shelters in northern Portugal and have set up a puppy station there. We rescue and adopt dogs from Portugal. There are many emergencies, many dogs that need to be rescued, many dogs that need urgent help... There are many bitches with puppies that are abandoned... Many puppies that are disposed of in the garbage... Many dogs that are no longer wanted .. The animal shelters are overcrowded... We urgently need donations to care for the many dogs...
