Hasta que les encontramos la mejor familia viven en casa, en manada, y nosotros somos su familia. Tenemos gatos, perros y todo tipo de animales. Alba is an inteligent funny and amusing girl. Although we well could say “was”, as a terrible tragic accident happened on fateful march 21st 2016. A relative, who was in a shock due to an epileptic attack, let Alba fall from a third floor. Alba saved her life, but a strong brain damage remains on her. Now, we have a long neurorehabilitation process left ahead to see how much she can recover and become herself again a bit. Help us!

Recursos Educatius per la Infància en Risc (REIR) es una asociación sin ánimo de lucro que gestiona diferentes proyectos con infancia en riesgo de exclusión social, sobretodo en Cataluña. Intenta dar una respuesta integral, de protección, con proyectos como centros de acogida, y de prevención como el Servicio Integral al Menor, desde dinde se financian becas escolares para menores en riesgo de exclusión. Actualmente tenemos una Beca Teaming y el próximo curso ampliaremos a dos dichas becas.

¡Comer no puede ser un lujo! Hay muchas familias que por la situación de crisis energética y social recurren al Banco de Alimentos en busca de ayuda. La pobreza se está cronificando. Sólo en Zaragoza hay más de 22000 personas que reciben alimentos para salir adelante. Tu ayuda es muy importante, cada euro lo utilizamos para hacer llegar alimentos a las personas más vulnerables.

El objetivo principal del proyecto de investigación es evaluar la efectividad de la administración de células mesenquimales en niños con daño cerebral. Se realizará en el Hospital del Niño Jesús de Madrid, pero los niños serán de cualquier lugar de España. Se evaluará la efectividad a nivel motor, a nivel cognitivo conductual, en la reducción de las crisis epilépticas y en la mejoría de la calidad de vida.

The researchers from the neonatology department at Clínico San Carlos Hospital are working with a medication that will reduce brain damage in premature babies and in those who suffered a brain infarction at birth. The results in animals so far have been excellent, but they have run out of funding to continue their work. Help them to continue! It’s vital! We need to be able to continue research to prevent brain damage in newborns. Thank you!

This group is created to help the many needs of Cal Lari, ADE’s "big" shelter. In it almost 50 horses and other animals live free. Gary, was rescued this summer of '22, a welsh pony condemned for malformation in its legs to starve and thirst in a cage of iron rods next to a road. After his rescue and hospital admission to the veterinary clinic, we have him recovering in Cal Lari. Keeping one horse a month is 200 € only in food.

GAB is an association that fights against the mistreatment and abandonment of the Ratonero Bodeguero Andaluz. This breed is used for hunting and when they are "no longer useful" they are abandoned. It is the same problem as with galgos and podencos, except that the bodegueros are not such a well known breed. The money raised goes directly to pay for the dogs' homes, which cost 100 euros per month per dog, plus countless veterinary expenses. Every euro counts to keep saving dogs.

CADASIL is a rare hereditary disease that affects arteries throughout the body, but its symptoms only occur in the brain, with recurrent strokes and dementia at an early age (around 45-50 years old) being characteristic. There is NO cure, but a research team at the Hospital de la Santa Creu i Sant Pau (Barcelona) is going to start a clinical trial to see if treatments already on the market can help to stop this incapacitating disease.
