SEVIHDA financially supports ASPOV (Association for Life), a non-profit association that provides psychosocial care to children affected by HIV and their families in the region of Piura (Peru), where they have HIV It leads to a stigma and social isolation, especially if you are a woman, because of the false myths about transmission and treatment, which often cause the person to end up with depression, abandonment of treatment and even death.
Improve the quality of life of people affected by HIV/AIDS and their families in the extremely poor Piura region (Peru), through joint intervention and social inclusion actions, such as workshops and family support and in hospitals, reducing stigma, discrimination and the multiplication of the virus. Priority is given to the most vulnerable groups such as pregnant women, children and adolescents and special cases (people who have, in addition to HIV, cancer, diabetes, schizophrenia...).
