Children need open spaces where they can grow up healthy and in contact with nature. A growing number of studies link aggressive behavior, hyperactivity, and anxiety to city life. SAVE! was created to contribute to scientific knowledge, halt urban degradation, and promote healthy living in the city. We want to connect the parks in the east of Seville with streams, boulevards, and green corridors for future generations. We aim to create a Green and Blue Infraestructure in western Seville.
Seville boasts a unique ecosystem. A relic of ancient riverbeds and wetlands, the El Sapo lagoons teem with life each year with the rains. A balanced ecosystem where wonders like this thrive, a hidden biodiversity rarely found in urban environments. A habitat that preserves creatures from another era, true living fossils like the Triops. For every euro you donate, we can continue our research and do much more for El Sapo. Durante este curso hemos conseguido muchas cosas. Entre ellas el premio nacional de Medioambiente en la categoría de Educación Ambiental de la Red Española de Aprendizaje de Servicios con el Colegio Arboleda somos premio! Invitaremos a todas las personas que han colaborado en los biomaratones, las reforestaciones y el plogging a un gran evento final de curso. ¿Te lo vas a perder?

En Sevilla existe un ecosistema singular. Relicto de antiguos cauces y humedales, las lagunas de El Sapo se llenan de vida cada año con las lluvias. Un ecosistema en equilibrio donde se dan maravillas como ésta, una biodiversidad oculta muy poco frecuente en entornos urbanos. Un hábitat que conserva seres de otra época, auténticos fósiles vivientes como el Triops. Por cada euro que dones podremos seguir investigando y hacer mucho más por El Sapo.
