This Guatemalan project was created in 2005 and is dedicated to the education of the children from Santa María de Jesús, an indigenous majority population living in poverty. Jardín de Amor (JDA) works in four areas: EDUCATION, as the basis for combating poverty, NUTRITION, essential for the development of children, HEALTH, hygiene education and offering financial aid to access health care and HOUSING, building houses for the families. AMIST Foundation project. Our goal is for pregnant women in Antsirabe, Madagascar, one of the poorest countries in the world, to have access to health control of their pregnancy and qualified care during childbirth, to try to reduce maternal and infant mortality. We focus on the recruitment of women and their follow-up in pregnancy, with analytical, ultrasound controls, quarterly consultations with midwives and assistance during childbirth.
