Sanctuary Cats

I'm Silvi Sanctuary. After many years of work, we're now a registered association: SANCTUARY CATS. Made up of Silvia and Oscar. With this group, we aim to raise funds to cover food, veterinary costs, and sterilization of homeless and abandoned cats. We also want to create safe areas and shelters for them. We're responsible for the control and care of a feline colony in our rural neighborhood. €1 doesn't seem like much, but so many people contributing is a huge help. Thank you.

There are many feral (community) cats that are unsterilized in our neighborhood. Little by little we are doing the work, but new litters keep appearing and therefore after months we have to sterilize more cats again. Right now we already have two registered colonies and in total we are in charge of feeding and caring for more than 60 cats on the streets. We need funds to be able to feed them and sterilize new puppies in the coming months. We also have to enable safe and adequate spaces to be able to rescue the kittens and get them off the street. The final goal is to be able to have a shelter where the most docile ones can be cared for and sheltered until their adoption arrives. We need you. €1 a month doesn't seem like much, but many people contributing that euro is a lot of help.

Hoy hace 2 años de la muerte de Jaimito, atropellado en la colonia.
Jaimito fue abandonado en 2021 en la colonia, poco a poco confió y en abril de 2022 se esterilizo. entonces salió el gato buenísimo que era. Comenzó a colarse en casa, y poco a poco se hizo un hueco entre los gatos de la casa, pero, con Milko lo llevaban mal, así que de día tenia que salir a la colonia con el resto de gatos. Por la noche entraba al jardín, se colaba por la gatera y dormía junto al radiador en invierno. El problema era que si cerraba la puerta de casa y se veía encerrado entraba en pánico. Casi lo habíamos superado cuando fue atropellado.
La colonia esta situada en la puerta de la casa, y es un camino por el que muchos coches pasan a mucha velocidad pese a estar limitada a 30km/h.
Para solucionar esto, quiero trasladar la colonia a una zona del terreno, donde los gatos puedan entrar lejos de la carretera, para ello tengo que arreglar cercado para que no accedan al resto del terreno y no se produzcan peleas territoriales.
Además, hay un antiguo gallinero que se podría habilitar como refugio para ellos, dejando de pasar tanto frio y calor en la calle.
Para esto necesitamos muchas donaciones. El coste es de 3.250€ para cercar, y arreglar estancia .. lo justo. Os necesitamos Teamers!!
