We rescue dogs from species-non - appropriate keeping, abuse and from killing stations. We help exactly where dogs are in need. Therefore we do not think in terms of national borders. With our small animal shelter in Hemmoor (Lower Saxony) we offer a first rescue station for dogs in need. Above all, we make sure through our mediation work that our dogs have a real chance of a happy life in a new home.

APAP Tossa de Mar es una entidad independiente y sin ánimo de lucro creada en 1985. Su objetivo es el bienestar de los animales abandonados ofreciéndoles el tratamiento adecuado en casa caso, a parte de buscar nuevas familias que los quieran para siempre. Nuestros perros han sido sacados en gran mayoría de perreras por riesgo de sacrificio o tener características especiales. Las instalaciones suelen estar al límite de capacidad. Las ayudas de la administración son nulas.

Welcome to the SCAN Team. On the Costa Blanca in Spain, we rescue, rehabilitate, and re-home abandoned and abused cats and dogs. Staffed entirely by volunteers and funded entirely by donations, every animal in our care is given shelter, food, medicine and enrichment to make it healthy, happy and ready for adoption. We successfully find loving forever homes for over 95% of SCAN Cats and SCAN Dogs.
