Wij brengen het lot van de galgo onder de aandacht en werken aan meer naamsbekendheid voor deze kleine organisatie in Malaga die geen enkele overheidssteun ontvangt. Door evenementen, crowdfunding, sponsorgelden en giften hopen wij voor hen financiële middelen te genereren.

For more than 30 years, Scooby has been providing shelter to abandoned and mistreated animals. In the 90's we brought to light the atrocities inflicted on galgos (Spanish greyhounds). At present, we are the biggest shelter in Spain, currently homing more than 1000 dogs and cats and 200 farm animals. Our resources are very limited and we depend mainly on the donations. La Fondation Benjamin Mehnert est une organisation à but non lucratif qui se consacre à la défense d'animaux de compagnie qui souffrent de mauvais traitements ou de négligence. Nous concentrons notre travail principalement sur le sauvetage, le rétablissement et le déplacement des lévriers dans les foyers familiaux, leur offrant ainsi une nouvelle opportunité comme animaux de compagnie. Bien que nous nous consacrions principalement à la récupération des lévriers, actuellement dans notre refuge vivent plus de 700 animaux....

A rescue and rehoming sanctuary for abused, neglected and abandoned Galgos and Podencas in Malaga, Spain. Entirely voluntary funded, this charity has saved the lives of many Galgos left to die on the streets. All our dogs are vaccinated, neutered, and rehabilitated before we place them in forever homes. This group is to raise money for ongoing running costs and vets fees for special cases like Ebro.

We deliver supplies, medicines and financial support to the Spanish and Irish shelters. Stichting VEHRA (Veterinarian Education Helping Rescued Animals) is een stichting die als doel heeft asiel en zwerfdieren een betere toekomst te geven door middel van sterilisatie en castratie acties. Dierenartsen Patty Heesakkers en Judith van de Wiel zijn hier in 2003 al mee begonnen, in de loop van de tijd is het uitgegroeid tot een serieuze onderneming. PAWS Animal Rescue is a wholly Irish Charity established in 1997. We are dedicated to rescuing homeless and abandoned animals, primarily dogs from high-kill pounds and owners who can no longer care for them. Galgos del Sol is a non profit charity located in Murcia, Spain. We are dedicated to rescue abandoned and injured galgos to rehabilitate them and find them forever homes in different parts of the world. Edina spends all her time saving animals from the streets in Sarajevo. She is also a volunteer at Praca (horror) shelter where dogs do not get food, medical attention, water, etc. She tries to save as many as possible. In winter Edina feeds the strays at night. Edina has around 130 dogs and 90 cats under her care at pensions and tries to find them good homes. She cannot do this alone, please help her!

Stichting de Nobele Hoeve is eind mei 2017 opgericht door Margarit Gerrits en heeft tot doel: het creëren van bewustwording op het gebied van welzijn van mens en dier, milieu en duurzaamheid om zo onze ecologische voetafdruk te verkleinen. De Nobele Hoeve houdt zich ook bezig met opvang en verzorging van verwaarloosde en mishandelde dieren. Deze dieren blijven daar hun hele oude dag, wat natuurlijk de nodige kosten met zich mee brengt. Op deze manier kunnen we zorgen voor extra ondersteuning.

LAS NIEVES es una organización sin ánimo de lucro. Además del cuidado del gran número de animales acogidos en nuestro albergue buscamos adoptantes y padrinos para ellos, concienciamos en el respeto a todos los seres vivos, sobre la responsabilidad de tener un animal de compañía y la importancia de su esterilización para evitar camadas incontroladas, causa del gran número de abandonos en nuestro país. La financiación es sólo a través de las donaciones de socios y padrinos.

HondenBrokkenMakers (HBM) steriliseert en voert straathonden en biedt ze gratis medische hulp. Op onze eigen farm in Topraisar aan de Zwarte Zee, waar we onze eigen kliniek hebben gerealiseerd, vangen we daarnaast gemiddeld 100 honden op die zich niet kunnen redden op straat; zij zijn gedumpt, aangereden, gewond, verlamd, ziek, uitgehongerd etcetera. Vrijwilligers zijn altijd welkom om te helpen. Alles gebeurt volledig transparant en alle donaties gaan naar de honden.

Stichting Dogs from Spain provides home and care for various dogs (from Spain, but also from other countries) with physical or mental issues: dogs who are afraid of humans, can't adjust to living in a " normal" household, handicapped dogs (blind, lame) and for " just" old dogs saved from horrible lives.
