This is a group pivoted by the Association of Neighbors and Friends of Ascaso that seeks to find resources to improve this village abandoned by the people between 1950 and 1990 and, above all, abandoned by public administrations. With the effort of volunteers, we carry out the Ascaso Film Festival every year, repair village trails, clear brush, organize work camps, and seek partnerships in companies and institutions that can help us restore.
The money raised during 2025 will help offset the Film Festival's deficit and, above all, pay for the projectors and sound equipment that ensure the quality of the film in Ascaso is comparable to that of any high-quality movie theater. To this end, we have set the goal of reaching 300 team members so we can face the 14th edition (August 26-30, 2025) with the greatest possible financial solvency. With your support, we can achieve high-quality screenings and guarantee our independence from governments that seem unsympathetic to cultural projects like ours. Thank you very much!
