In Senegal, hundreds of children walk more than 5 km to attend class, they get up very early to walk without barely having breakfast. When their classes end they must take the same route. This group has the purpose of helping Bicicletas sin Fronteras, creator of a school bicycle transportation system. Every 240 euros we raise will be used to sponsor a Baobike, which allows students in rural areas of Senegal to go to school with equal opportunities.

With more than 220 volunteers, we are dedicated to the defense of the marine environment, studies on the sea, its life and especially cetaceans. We do environmental education and we have one school sailboat for our activities, the Misty witch of 9.85 meters. We offset our carbon footprint through reforestation. At Sonrisa Saharaui Región de Murcia, we have the dream of creating a vegetable garden to strengthen the food sovereignty of Sahrawi refugees in Wilaya of Bojador and thus give them greater self-sufficiency through their own resource productivity. With this project, we will improve the quality of life of the refugee population, contributing to the expansion and diversification of their basic diet. This project was the dream of Halima Embarek and now it is also ours.

Somos una asociación sin ánimo de lucro creada por estudiantes de la facultad de Veterinaria de la Universidad de Murcia a finales del año 2005. Esta iniciativa surgió debido a la cantidad de perros y gatos que nos encontrábamos abandonados y a los que nos veíamos “obligados” a buscarles un hogar digno donde recibieran el trato que se merecen.

CADASIL is a rare hereditary disease that affects arteries throughout the body, but its symptoms only occur in the brain, with recurrent strokes and dementia at an early age (around 45-50 years old) being characteristic. There is NO cure, but a research team at the Hospital de la Santa Creu i Sant Pau (Barcelona) is going to start a clinical trial to see if treatments already on the market can help to stop this incapacitating disease.
