SOS Primates is a non-profit organization that supports the work of the Lwiro Primate Rehabilitation Center (CRPL). Located in the eastern Democratic Republic of the Congo, the center is home to more than 90 chimpanzees and 100 monkeys rescued from poaching and illegal trafficking. In this war-stricken area, the CRPL employs more than 50 local workers and represents the only hope for the protection and survival of these fascinating animals.

This group is created to help the many needs of Cal Lari, ADE’s "big" shelter. In it almost 50 horses and other animals live free. Gary, was rescued this summer of '22, a welsh pony condemned for malformation in its legs to starve and thirst in a cage of iron rods next to a road. After his rescue and hospital admission to the veterinary clinic, we have him recovering in Cal Lari. Keeping one horse a month is 200 € only in food.

More than 2,000 animals are admitted annually to the AMUS hospital; a team of professionals has been formed, which has revolutionized the way of treating injured wildlife with innovative medicine and excellence supported by cutting-edge techniques. For more than 40 years, our shelter has been helping abandoned animals. In 2008, the refuge was built, and since then we have helped thousands of animals thanks to the collaboration of our members and Vergessene Pfoten, a German NGO that has been supporting us since 2006 by finding homes for our little ones and covering the expenses generated by their care.
