For more than 30 years, Scooby has been providing shelter to abandoned and mistreated animals. In the 90's we brought to light the atrocities inflicted on galgos (Spanish greyhounds). At present, we are the biggest shelter in Spain, currently homing more than 1000 dogs and cats and 200 farm animals. Our resources are very limited and we depend mainly on the donations. My name is Nikos Tsikalakis and I am the owner of Bronx Familia Animal Shelter. For the past 10 years I have dedicated my life to save the stray and abused dogs of Crete, Greece. I currently have 250 dogs, one horse, two sheep and a goat… times are often hard financially, but I believe that we together can make a better world for the animals. OASICODEFELICI is a project that manages a sanctuary for animals rescued from situations of discomfort, suffering, mistreated or sick ... We give a temporary home to stray animals that otherwise would have no future, keeping them in shelter with us until they have a home of their own. The refuge is home to more than 200 souls of all species, which we can only save thanks to our strength and the help of the wonderful people who support us!

Two similar hearts: TONY VIOLA, a Calabrian volunteer active in the rescue of lost and hopeless souls, in the very sad reality of the south of today and LAURA GRANA, a life spent collecting needy animals as well as professional video maker and web designer. The purpose of Animal Rescue is to defend animal rights through rescuing, raising awareness, education, lobbying and activism. The animals we rescue are always the most difficult cases. We don't give up on our rescues. We make sure they get the best care and try the hardest to find adoptive homes or fostering. Most animals are adopted abroad through a strict adoption screening and a follow up process. We believe the stray population can only be fully controlled by spaying/neutering.

Forniamo assistenza, protezione e sicurezza permanente ad asini e muli vittime di malattia, abuso e abbandono. Investighiamo e lavoriamo per impedire atti di crudeltà e maltrattamento e per aiutare gli asini in difficoltà (299 quelli raggiunti e aiutati nel solo 2016). Ci occupiamo di educazione e di interventi assistiti per persone con bisogni speciali. Siamo la sede italiana di The Donkey Sanctuary, ente che da quasi 50 anni opera in tutto il mondo in difesa degli asini.

The Association manages the animal shelter "Fratelli Minori".There are 600 dogs and 220 cats. The association's revenue consists of membership fees, offers, donations from supporters and contributions from the agreements with the municipalitie of Olbia. The funds raised are used to cover the costs for sterilization of stray dogs, assistance to sick animals and the management of the Refuge that is always in difficulty.
