CADASIL es una enfermedad rara hereditaria que afecta a las arterias de todo el cuerpo, pero sus síntomas solo se producen en el cerebro, siendo característicos los ictus de repetición y la demencia en edades tempranas (hacia los 50 años). NO tiene cura, pero un equipo de investigación del Hospital de Sant Pau va a iniciar un ensayo clínico para ver si tratamientos ya comercializados sirven para frenar esta incapacitante enfermedad. El coste total es de 20.000 euros. ¡¡Ayudanos a curar!!
