To neuter, blood test vaccinate etc, provide veterinary care and a sanctuary for these dogs until they are able to be re-homed. There is no funding from the Spanish government all monies have to be raised by us to allow us to help these wonderful creatures, Once the pride of Spain now the great forgotten

The association Burrita Carmela is a 100% family project where we take care of 24 donkeys and donkeys. All the money raised goes towards veterinary costs, food and maintenance of the facilities. This association is supported by its own and private financial efforts, so your collaboration is very valuable to us. Burrita Carmela is located in El Barrio Gumuzio in Amorebieta-Etxano, Bizkaia.

We are a non-profit animal protection association. The purpose of A.L.M.A. is to rescue animals in distress, provide veterinary assistance and find a home. To get it we need your help, because together we are your chance to live.

This is a sanctuary to help abused & abandoned horses and other species. Live 64 equines and other animals in the sanctuary. The approximate cost per horse per month is 120 euros if they are in good health; if there are not, the amount can go up to a few hundreds of euros and even thousands.
