HELP is a charitable association helping people in the Marina Alta since 1984 and run entirely by volunteers. We offer assistance in the local hospitals and medical centres, with a HELP desk and interpreters in Denia Hospital, Lending medical equipment, hoists, beds, wheelchairs etc. We supply equipment to support the hospitals and medical centres. We try to provide short term support and assistance to ALL people in our area and especially during times of local or national crisis.

Animal Charity Akira was formed in 2011, and opened a shelter in 2016. A monthly allowance is given by both Benissa and Teulada Moraira town councils towards the running costs of the shelter, but this is less than the cost of the veterinary bills for the dogs in their care, so AKIRA needs donations to help provide for the dogs. We are constantly fund raising but you could help by sparing just 1 euro per month to help provide a safe, friendly, caring environment for the dogs.

Siamo un team di psicologi il cui obiettivo è dimostrare e propagare i benefici che la musica ha sul morbo di Alzheimer, dato che la memoria musicale e le emozioni sono le ultime capacità a perdersi. La nostra missione: coinvolgere, sensibilizzare, comporre e diffondere la MUSICA come strumento e l’AMORE come cammino per la gestione dei disturbi comportamentali (agitazione, aggressione...) che accompagnano la malattia. L'Alzheimer non può vincere con la musica e l'amore.

Somos una asociación sin ánimo de lucro situada en Cullera (Valencia). Nuestro principal objetivo es el rescate de animales abandonados y/o maltratados, curarlos, devolverles la confianza y una vez estén listos buscarles la familia más adecuada. Nuestra mayor satisfacción es ver felizmente adoptado a cada huérfano. We are a non profit organization in the country side of Spain, (Picassent), near Valencia. There are a lot of street cats and abandoned cats and kittens. My neighbor and I, we both have 15 cats adopted and also feed the street cats. So in total we are feeding 60 cats, for which we need more than 50 kg of food every week. We try to catch the females to have them neutered to control the colony.
