GAB is an association that fights against the mistreatment and abandonment of the Ratonero Bodeguero Andaluz. This breed is used for hunting and when they are "no longer useful" they are abandoned. It is the same problem as with galgos and podencos, except that the bodegueros are not such a well known breed. The money raised goes directly to pay for the dogs' homes, which cost 100 euros per month per dog, plus countless veterinary expenses. Every euro counts to keep saving dogs.

Biel es un niño que nació prematuro de 30 semanas por falta de oxígeno. A las 3 semanas de vida sufrió un ictus y su pronóstico era vivir en estado vegetativo. Biel está diagnosticado con leucomalacia: pci, epilepsia e hidrocefalia con válvula de derivación. En España las ayudas son insuficientes y a partir de los cinco años los gastos se incrementan mucho, debido a la falta de subvención. APAP Tossa de Mar es una entidad independiente y sin ánimo de lucro creada en 1985. Su objetivo es el bienestar de los animales abandonados ofreciéndoles el tratamiento adecuado en casa caso, a parte de buscar nuevas familias que los quieran para siempre. Nuestros perros han sido sacados en gran mayoría de perreras por riesgo de sacrificio o tener características especiales. Las instalaciones suelen estar al límite de capacidad. Las ayudas de la administración son nulas.
