This Group was created to support the Spanish Association Against Cancer, a non-profit organization made up of patients, family members, volunteers, collaborators, and professionals. The mission of the AECC is to work together to educate on health, support and accompany sick people and their families, and fund research projects that will allow better diagnosis and treatment of cancer.

NTT DATA colleagues joined forces to do our bit in the COVID crisis by supporting UNICEF who worked with the Spanish Government to provide supplies, to protect our health professionals. At the moment, their needs are different and we will donate them all the amount already collected so that they can attend to the different emergencies they are working with. Afterwards, we will close this Teaming Group. Thank you very much for your help during this time and for your support at times like these.

Carlos, a NTT DATA partner, was diagnosed with ALS at the age of 32. Since then, he has tirelessly fought against the disease and is now a remarkable example of perseverance: he has covered over 1,000 km in 17 marathons in his wheelchair. Through this Teaming Group, NTT DATA colleagues support the Luzón Foundation's project "Giving a Voice to People with ALS," which provides alternative communication devices to those with fewer resources. The goal of the project is to reduce the school dropout rate among students with greater learning difficulties, coming from challenging socio-family environments. In addition, it has other cross-cutting objectives: closing the gender gap in technological fields, fostering interest in STEM areas, developing soft skills, social and communication abilities, promoting the use of mistakes as part of the learning process, and helping young people become responsible technology users.

At NTT DATA, we want to show our support to our Ukrainian colleagues and all the people suffering the consequences of the war in Ukraine. More than 7 Ukrainian moved inside the country. 8 million have crossed the border. They all have become refugees, mainly women and children. Our help means food, water, blankets, tarps, cash, and legal and psychological support for them. After a year, aid is still needed for them. Join us for 1€/month!

We created this Group from NTT DATA to support the reforestation projects of the Osmon organization, which works in this way to fight climate change. The excess CO2 we produce and that accumulates in the atmosphere contributes to global warming. Trees are our best allies as they absorb this CO2, along with other gases and odors, and return oxygen to the atmosphere. Reforestation is a long-term project – will you help us with €1 per month?

As you know, a 6.8 magnitude earthquake struck southern Morocco,(its epicentre has been 60km from Marrakech). To date, more than 2,800 people have been killed and more than 2,500 injured, according to the Moroccan Ministry of the Interior. NTT DATA colleagues have joined forces to help them by donating €1/month to the Emergency Committee.

After the impact of the DANA storm in our country, NTT DATA employees created this Teaming Group to support those who lost everything, in partnership with the Spanish Red Cross. Although the rebuilding process is still ongoing, less support is reaching those affected over time. That’s why your 1€ can make a real difference. Will you join us?
