Charity visits the baby class of the Hope Integrated School in Kilifi/Kenya, a partner school of the Kilifi Vonwald School. Old Ferry -Mikanjuni in the local language, a region at the foot of our school, the SLUM of Kilifi. There are about 800 families living in Old Ferry with a corresponding number of children. We Harambee/Gapeka support a school for the poor, the Bright Academy. Led by a pastor. The classrooms are only rented. Neither a blackboard, nor books, notebooks; no tables, not to mention the school uniform required in Kenya. The special thing here, the vast majority of all parents are physically or mentally disabled. We are an NGO with humanitarian projects in different parts of the world, surviving solely on small donations from volunteers who trust us. Our compromise: all donations reach their destination.
