El objetivo principal del proyecto de investigación es evaluar la efectividad de la administración de células mesenquimales en niños con daño cerebral. Se realizará en el Hospital del Niño Jesús de Madrid, pero los niños serán de cualquier lugar de España. Se evaluará la efectividad a nivel motor, a nivel cognitivo conductual, en la reducción de las crisis epilépticas y en la mejoría de la calidad de vida.

Every year, 7,000 birds, mammals, reptiles and amphibians (almost twenty animals per day on average) are admitted to GREFA's Wildlife Hospital in Majadahonda (Madrid), to be treated for a wide range of injuries or pathologies. The priority of our veterinarians and wildlife rehabilitators, assisted by GREFA's volunteers, is to return these animals to their natural habitat once they have reached ideal conditions for life in the wild. Our dogs and cats need their food ration and their daily pills. Many of them are victims of accidents that require expensive surgeries and chronic diseases.
