ALS is a neurodegenerative disease of unknown origin, without a cure and with a life expectancy of 2 to 5 years. Affected people are aware of the progressive loss of motor functions and the increasing degree of dependency. The Catalan Foundation for ALS Miquel Valls is the only non-profit organization in Catalonia that works to improve the quality of life of people and families affected by ALS through psychosocial support projects at home and in hospitals.

Je suis Pol, né le 25 mai 2012. J'ai une grave lésion cérébrale, causée par un manque d'oxygène lors de ma naissance. Je souffre de graves crises d'épilepsie, de problèmes de mobilité, de douleurs musculaires et d'insomnie, et grâce à toutes les contributions, j'ai effectué toutes sortes de traitements en Espagne et aux Etats-Unis. Nous recueillons actuellement des fonds pour de nouvelles thérapies et des interventions médicales à venir qui amélioreront ma mobilité. Aidez-moi à réaliser mes rêves. Je compte sur vous !
