The SJD Pediatric Center is the first monographic centre for paediatric oncology in Spain (2nd in Europe). 70% of the centre is devoted to care and 30% to research. It has the capacity to care for 400 children and youngsters. Its spaces are designed with the emotional well-being of the children and their families in mind. Our aim is that the children have more options to overcome cancer with less after-effects. Your euro helps to carry out the humanisation programmes and new treatments. Will you join us?

El origen de esta asociación es Izas, nuestra hija, a la que se le diagnosticó una enfermedad mortal, un cáncer cerebral llamado gliomatosis cerebri, del que no hay tratamiento curativo, y cuya supervivencia aproximada es de 14 meses desde el diagnóstico. La asociación Izas tiene como prioridad impulsar la investigaciónde la gliomatosis cerebri pediátrica, pues no existe ninguna investigación en el mundo sobre este cáncer. Somos una Asociación sin ánimo de lucro, puesta en marcha en mayo del 2015, con el objetivo de recaudar fondos para la investigación de un tumor infantil maligno (cáncer infantil) llamado RABDOMIOSARCOMA (enfermedad huérfana). Trabajamos estrechamente con el Laboratorio de Investigación del Hospital Sant Joan de Déu para pilotar un proyecto de investigación.
