At “El Hogar,” health cannot wait. Our elderly and special-needs animals require daily care, and many others cannot be transported due to their large size. In addition, our remote mountain location places us two hours away from hospitals in case of emergency. That is why we must secure a resident veterinarian living on-site to care for them every day.
